How it all started ...

Or exactly, WHERE did it start...... I have no exact idea, you see. It dawned to me a not too long ago, that what I really would like to achieve, is move out into some country place and be as self sufficientish as I can....... Since that I have started a new life as a divorced mom of two daughters in their teens, it seems I have had a major intern earthquake happening regularly, shaking my true self back in place bit by bit and get me back to things I used to dream about. Grow my own veg and fruits would be a good start but there are more things which I would love to do. I always have been interested in the country life and how farmers take care of things. Lately more and more people seem to want to get away of it all, and do exactly the same thing as I want to do........it must say something about the daily life we all are leading nowadays, work from 9 to 5 (which I don't) to earn money to spend on stuff we don't actually need. The last years I seem to have collected quite a few books on how to do things selfsufficiently, without even knowing it. Learned to bake bread Learned to quilt Learned to spin wool and knit.... Now it is slowly all falling into place....and things are taking shape in my mind. This blog is just the start of it.....soon a small veg garden is to follow.
